The quintessential element of an infant’s layette is the matching Bonnet, Sweater and Booties set. This pattern uses some methods I haven’t seen in a while, so I’ve included a plethora of pictures to help you understand, what I think is essentially, a simple design.
PDF is 14 pages
Lace Weight yarn (I used Malabrigo Lace which is approx. 1mm thick)
Crochet hook: 2.75mm
Optional Notions: mini buttons/beads for trim and or closure Tapestry needle, the smallest that will accommodate your yarn
Single crochet stitches per centimeter/ 3
Skills needed: chain, single crochet, double crochet and slip stitch
